What does life bring when you leave home with just a pair of trainers, a camera and a dream in your heart? Well, you'd probably be arrested and cold... But add clothes, a passport and a toothbrush and the world begins to invite you in...

674 days, 455 flights, 196 countries, 10 million steps, war zones, extreme temperatures, 15 pairs of trainers, 400,000+ photos... the list continues.

On the 6th January 2018, Nick Butter embarked on the journey of a lifetime - a world record setting expedition to become the first person to run a marathon in every country on the planet.

This book captures the beauty and wonder of planet earth and the humans that make this place special. The tales of hardship, political instability, conflict, suffering, endurance, culture, religion, race, nature, and so much more are captured in this extraordinary snapshot of life, adventure and exploration.

A MESSAGE FROM NICK:

This book captures every country in the world, hundreds of animals, faces, landscapes, and completely bazar situations; the highs, the lows, war zones, huge temperature changes, mountain ranges, North Korea, Somalia, Yemen, Syria, the list goes on. I've always wanted to produce a photography book - and now is the perfect opportunity to tell the story to the world through my lens. It's been one hell of a journey so far. The book will be super high quality in a large coffee table format with high gloss pages and a perfect bound finish.
